As a child, Tony would sit close to the stage and watch the band perform whenever his parents went out dancing.  He began playing guitar when he was 6 years old.  He took up the pedal steel when he was 15.  When he was in the seventh grade, Tony began playing guitar for Sunday mass at St. Benedict's Catholic Church.  In 1975 he and future wife, Brenda, formed Cactus Country.

Musical influences include George Strait, Alabama, 70's rock artists, and many of the classic country musicians.

Tony's day job is as an executive with a local manufacturing company, as he has a B.S. degree in Engineering from Trinity Univ. and an MBA from St. Mary's Univ.  His professional experience in the business world has helped to prepare the band to handle many different types of events, and deal with groups and entertainment agents in a professional manner.

Tony also engineers and produces CD's in the band's 24 track digital recording studio. He works with groups performing country and also Christian music, and enjoys helping new artists get started in the recording industry.  He has completed over 20 CD projects over the last few years!
