REX ALLEN JR. had a number of Top 10 Nashville hits in the 1970’s & 80’s, and is in the Western Music National Hall of Fame in New Mexico. He was also a regular on the Statler Brothers Show.  Cactus Country is his back up band when his shows bring him to Texas.  As a long time National Artist who's dad was also a hit singer and Western movie, we appreciate his comments

Just a quick note to thank you for playing at our daughter's wedding and provided the perfect entertainment for the evening. 

The music was great and everyone had a wonderful time.  What I loved was that the  sound was not too loud that people

 could still talk to each other while you were playing.  Also it was seamless between the band and the

CD's that were played during the intermissions and for the special songs.  It was hard to tell when you were playing and when you

weren't.  Thanks again for being so professional and for making the wedding a very memorable event.

I work for Camp Lonehollow in Vanderpool, Texas. Every summer our counselors spend their Saturday nights at Criders. We love that place! In January we are having a counselor reunion out at Lonehollow and on Saturday night Jan. 15 and one of our ideas was to re-create Criders for our counselors. Every time I think of Criders I immediately think of Cactus Country. Ya’ll are the band that we always hope is there. So I was wanting information on booking Cactus Country for our reunion.

 Tony,   I just want to thank yall for doing such a great job at our reception.  The music and order of the songs were great.  Everybody including Jon and I enjoyed everything.  The grand march was so much fun too.  The next day everybody was talking about how much fun they during the grand march.  It was the talk of our gift opening on the Sunday after the wedding.  Now during the grand march I did lose the glass in one of my pictures frames because someone hit it and the glass broke, but it was all worth it to see the looks on people faces and how much fun they were having.

 Again I just wanted to thank yall and tell you that yall did a great job!

 The band was great.  I heard lots of good comments.

I had a good time. However;  I swear the margarita's had no alcohol.  I drank 5, and my sister in law did to.  We did not even get tipsy. Keith was there, he played at a table on the end the whole night.  Please pass on the note to your cousins with Cactus Country
